I did some home improvement this weekend.

Hung vinyl siding on the shop.

I planned ahead, thinking it would be nice to wait until the hottest weekend of the year, and it was not a dry heat. I had sweat literally dripping off of my nose and took three showers a day. It was not as hard as I thought. The gable end was tricky. I am not good at the angle cuts. The trick was driving the nails. They were aluminum an very soft. You have to get them at just the right depth, not too tight and not to loose. The idea is to "hang" the siding on the nails.

I still have to work on the soffet and fascia, but I am not in a big hurry. It took me ten years to get this far so a month or so more wont really matter. I think it looks a lot better, at least on two sides. Being cheap and lazy, I only did the sides you can see from the house. The neighbors still have the same vew.
