Lightning strikes !!
About 10:00 am we heard a boom and the lights blinked in the storage room.... and the phone started to ring.
I am not sure where it hit, but it was close. It is a small, but distinguished list of casualties:
Classified Switch
WEHCO switch
3 jet direct cards
Security system PC (a real pain)
My bosses PC
My Mac (at least the network adapter)
Telephone operator console
Call reporting server
Data Features wire modem
and about 25 minor glitches
Decks are still reporting in and we expect a few more fatalities. It is a good thing we had spare switches on the shelf. Replacements have already been ordered. Toby, who is on vacation, thought I was making this up. We are piling all of the dead stuff in his chair. When we get it all together I will try to post a picture.
