I got one

Yes, I did get my iPhone. I got in line about 3:00 and I was number 16 in line. Everyone else was a fanboy like me so it was entertaining. The guy at the front of the line had been there since 2:30 am. By 6:00, there were about 60 people waiting. Things went pretty fast. I was home by 6:45. the activation, number porting and syncing went perfectly and I was up and running in a half hour.

The phone is very cool. It did everything that was advertised and a bit more. The screen is by far the best I have seen on ANY device. It blows away my laptop, desktop and even the PSP. The keyboard is a fast as the Treo for me but I am not a power texter.

I doubt you can scratch the screen without trying very hard. The torture tests I have seen on the web are very impressive.

Battery life is probably OK. I ran it for 10 hours of heavy use, much more than a normal day and I still had a half charge.

But after an hour or so I started to see the problems, like no way to increase the font size in contacts, no flash, no MMS, slow browser and several inconsistencies in the interface. But it is still great. It will be fun to watch the third party apps and updates come out.
